Close Distribution Round
Close Distribution Round stops an active Pull distribution round early: LP holders lose the ability to claim their reward, even if the original claim window hasn't expired yet.
Use this proposal if you need to free up the plugin's reserved funds ahead of schedule, or if the round was created with incorrect parameters.
To close a round:
Create a proposal (Create Proposal) of type Close Distribution Round.
If the DAO has several Mass Payout Plugins installed, choose the one you want.
Select the round to close from the list of that plugin's active rounds. The form shows its parameters: the pool amount (Pool Amount), the amount already claimed (Claimed), the number of claims (Claims, x of y holders), and the claim window end date (Claim Ends).
Specify the Voting Duration and click Create Proposal.
GPs vote on the proposal. Once general consensus is reached, the round closes immediately.
Closing a round is irreversible. After closing, holders can no longer claim their reward, even if they were previously entitled to it. Unclaimed funds remain on the Mass Payout Plugin — withdraw them with a separate Withdraw Mass Payout Funds proposal, or use them for a new round. A closed round cannot be reopened — create a new round for a new distribution.
This action only closes Pull rounds ("Distribution by LP"). Push rounds ("Payment List") are stopped differently — see Push Rounds.
