How to choose the right quorum?
Quorum is the minimum share of GT held by DAO members required for a vote to be considered legitimate. According to Robert's Rules of Order, "a quorum is a safeguard against completely unrepresentative action on behalf of an organization by an unduly small number of persons."
For a proposal to be accepted, a set voting threshold must be met (for example, a 60% quorum means the proposal must be supported by holders of 60% of GT). Once the threshold is reached, the decision is approved; if the quorum threshold is not reached, the proposal is rejected.
Imagine a group of 3 DAO members. Each holds 10 GT tokens, so the votes are distributed equally — 33.3% per member.
If you want the quorum to be reached when two members vote, the quorum threshold should be set between 34% and 66.6%.
