Remove GP
The Remove GP proposal (remove_gp) burns all of a selected member's GP tokens and removes them from the DAO's GPs.
Remove GP always burns the selected member's entire GP token balance, not part of it. To reduce a member's share without removing them entirely, use Transfer GP Tokens — this lets you move part of their tokens to another GP.
To remove a GP from the DAO:
Open the DAO → the Votes tab → click the + icon (Create Proposal).
Select the DAO and the Remove GP proposal type, then click Create.
Fill in the proposal title and description, and set the voting period (2, 3, or 4 days, or a custom duration in days/hours/minutes — minimum 1 minute).
From the dropdown, select the GP to remove — the list is populated from the DAO's current GP token holders.
The form shows a preview of the resulting GP distribution: how the voting share (%) of the remaining members will change once the selected GP's tokens are burned.
Click Create to submit the proposal for a vote.
Remove GP is one of the proposal types that change the DAO's voting balance. If the DAO already has active votes, creating this kind of proposal triggers a warning: all currently active votes will be stopped and their results voided.
Once GPs vote and general consensus is reached, the removed member's GP tokens are burned, and they disappear from the DAO's list of holders.
