Forbid to Add Members
GT Minting is the ability to add new members to a DAO. Since you cannot transfer GT tokens to anyone without a vote, disabling and freezing this feature will block the ability to mint GT tokens permanently. Adding a new member will then only be possible by redistributing existing GT in their favor.
To permanently disable GT Minting:
Click Forbid to Add Members on the Manage page in your DAO.
Click Create voting and create a vote. Once it is activated, GT Minting will be disabled permanently.
Disabling and freezing GT Minting permanently forbids increasing the current number of GT. If you plan to invite new DAO members through GT Minting rather than redistribution, do not freeze this feature.
