Create LP Token

To start the fundraising process, the DAO must first issue Liquidity Provider (LP) tokens.

Before creating an LP token, read the section:

To create an LP Token:

Click Create LP Token on the Manage page in your DAO.

Enter the name and symbol of the LP Token.

After creating the vote and activating it, you will create a smart contract for your LP token for the DAO.

The LP token is a standard ERC-20 token with 18 decimal places.

Once the LP Token is created, you will not be able to change the name or symbol of the LP token, since at the moment the LP is created this data is registered on the blockchain and cannot be changed.

All DAOs on XDAO can have only one LP token. It is not possible to create more than one LP token in a DAO.
